Pluto

Pluto

The Pluto is a great skinning and utility design, with plenty of belly and curve suitable for a variety of utility tasks as well. The deeply hollow ground blade is 440C high chromium martensitic stainless tool steel for high hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This Pluto has a very meticulous and tight vine filework pattern completely around the spine and handle tang. With an overall length of about 6.75" and a cutting edge length of 2.5", the Pluto is comfortable in the hand with the three finger handle style that nestles in the palm. The knife is bolstered with nickel silver bolsters, dovetailed to bed a pair of Desert Ironwood hardwood handle scales. The knife is sheathed in a hand-carved sheath of leather shoulder, inlaid with panels of Prairie Rattlesnake skin, hand-stitched with polyester sinew, lacquered and sealed.
