An older/early work, this is a unique custom version of my SERE Kid dagger. This knife has a double edged, hollow ground blade made with an 8" contact wheel for a wide and thin blade geometry, in mirror polished 440C high chromium martensitic stainless tool steel. The blade hollow grinds are custom etched with imagery requested by the client. The bolsters are 304 high chromium, high nickel austenitic stainless steel, dovetailed and pinned for permanence. The handle is Budstone (Verdite) gemstone from Africa, and the handle scales are set off from the fully fileworked tang with a pair of fileworked brass spacers. The knife sheath is tension fit kydex, aluminum, and blued steel with nickel plated steel belt/boot clip.
